Rebecca
Didier was born on
September 18,1954,
in Baton Rouge,La.
She still lives in
Baton Rouge with her
husband of thirteen
years , Brian. She
has a son and a daughter
named Kevin and Kasey,
one granddaughter named
Lauren Grace. A wonderful
daughter in law named
Christy and a beautiful
Godchild named Miyoko.
Rebecca attends Healing
Place Church in Baton
Rouge. Rebecca is a
firm believer in God.
Rebecca and Kasey have
a lot of love and faith
in God which helped
us to receive many
miracles from God.
Rebecca lost both of
her parents, stepfather,
and Kasey all with
in sixteen
months. Rebecca's book
is all about a message
from Jesus Christ and
no matter what trials
comes your way on your
journey here on earth
Jesus is always with
you until the end.

Rebecca wrote this
book in memory of Kasey,
and her one prayer
is that it will inspire
and help others through
their difficult journeys
here on earth.
This book is a true story that will make you believe in Jesus Christ and understand
why Jesus didn't take Kasey home to heaven right after her tragic car accident.
It's about a family's journey of faith that took us down a path that is every
parent's nightmare. But with Jesus by our side, we always felt hope and love,
but most of all he gave us all the faith that we needed day by day to pull us
through this roller coaster ride here on Earth. Jesus gave Kasey the strength
and courage to fight to live for twenty one months even when all odds were against
her.

This website is about a very courageous and strong minded person that had the will to fight to live even when all odds were against her.
On December 4, 1979 God blessed us with an angel. Little did
we know at that time, her life here on earth would be so short,
yet have so much meaning at the end. On March 3, 2001 Kasey was
riding with a friend and she lost control of the car and Kasey’s
neck was broken. She died instantly and was without air for ten
minutes. Every doctor would tell us, “After four minutes without
air, you are brain dead, but not my earth angel. Kasey’s journey
of faith began on a stormy and rainy night about 2:10 a.m. She
became a quadriplegic. She couldn’t speak, smell, laugh, eat
or drink, but she never once let Jesus down. She just picked
up her cross and ran with it with a big smile on her face and
never stopped until Jesus took her home on November 27, 2002.
She has shown the world many, many miracles and even though her
flesh isn’t here on earth, her spirit is so strong.
We lost Kasey about twenty times before the Lord took her home
for the 21st time. I would think every time her heart would stop,
God would say to her, “Go back my earth angel, because there
is still work that needs to be done.” The doctors told us that
morning in the trauma center, “You daughter is on a cliff and
she is going to die slowly with one infection after another and
even the medicine won’t help her anymore.” “It will be a painful
death.” I had twenty
one months to watch our angel suffer, just like the doctors said.
They were right about everything but had no idea that she would
live twenty one months. She always felt like a burning pain in
her legs,arms,ears and in the back of her head. Through all of
the suffering, she tried to always keep a smile and would tell
people not to feel sorry for her. “I’m just fine.” “I have
Jesus in my heart.” Her
faith in Jesus was unbelievable! She has touched so may lives with
her smile, faith and the will to fight to live, even when all odds
were against her. I know God is very proud of her, but so are we.
She has taught me more about Jesus Christ in twenty one months
then I could have ever taught her in twenty two years. We wrote
a book about Kasey’s
journey of faith if you would like to order one you can order it

Kasey’s
life from the beginning, because we knew that something special
was happening to all of our lives. We sent out email updates. Just
from our computer, we had one hundred and thirty five addresses,
and then those people would forward it all to their family and
friends. It went as far as Africa. There was no way that I could
write her whole story on a website. It had to be put into a book
form.
 You will see a picture of Kasey with Joseph Ferguson. He was so touched by her story that he and his whole family, which names are, Mike, Bridgett, Michael, Joseph and Marian Ferguson. They came over to our home for awhile every Friday night to have Bible Study and for Christmas he made her a candy land.  They
are a Godly family. I would think that the message from Kasey and Jesus would
be to help spread her story about what happened and why. You never think anything
like this can ever happen to you. Young people especially thinks, not me. Your
life on earth is so precious, so unique, and is really so short already, so
don’t make it any shorter. People’s lives have meaning and a purpose. Your actions could take the life of someone else or even your child. Thank and rethink your decisions. You don’t always have to follow the crowd, just follow Jesus. Kasey didn’t get a second chance, you may not either. She did all the right things. She didn’t drink and drive and wore her seatbelt. It happened in Kasey’s car. If she would have not been drinking, she would have driven herself home and would have never rode with anyone that was drinking I know that it was raining heavy that night, but having alcohol in your system, didn’t help at all. I’m not saying anything that Kasey wouldn’t be telling you herself if she would be sitting here, because she would tell all her friends afterwards, “Please don’t drink and drive. Turn your life around and follow Jesus. He is for eternity and this earth is just for a short time.” If
anyone that goes to this website and you had lost a child, there is a wonderful
organization called The Compassionate Friends, their website is www.compassionatefriends.org.
There you will receive lots of love, compassion and while you are there, you
will make lots of friends.
We pray that God will bless us with the making of a movie so
that we can help many, paralyzed people in this world. We were told that every
forty nine minutes, someone becomes paralyzed on this earth. I hope you enjoyed
reading about our angel’s website. I know if you read her book, it will only
give you some inspiration and faith in this world. I tell people all the time, “To
this world you might be one person, but to one person you might be the world.” Thank
you for visiting our website and if one day someone hands you a card that
looks like a business card and it has a picture of our angel with a rainbow
on it that reads just an act of kindness in memory of our daughter, Kasey
Joy Kidder, you will know of her faith already. Our family will become better
human beings, because of Kasey’s faith. God Bless each and every one of you,
because he has already blessed our family, just by letting our paths cross
here on earth. If ever your faith is being tested, like Kasey’s
was, I hope you choose to dance with your faith like she did. Please leave

A Mother's Letter:
A Life is represented by two dates, separated by one dash.
Look at this date, my child was only twenty-two years old.
Where she lived, what she did, who she was is contained
in that dash.
The important thing to know is that at the end of her
life she came to know Jesus. She was relying on Him and
witnessing for Him, so she made her short life count...For
all eternity. What will your dash represent? Make your
life count. Let Jesus show you the way to his father.
Kasey, your dash of life December 4, 1979 - November 27,
2002 has so much meaning. We all were sent to earth by
Jesus to do his will. God sent you from heaven to earth
into my life and deep into my heart, then you journeyed
back to heaven with your spirit and soul into your heavenly
Father's arms. I will make my journey here on earth as
meaningful as yours, so my soul can Journey back to heaven
to be with Jesus and you.

Don't grieve for me, for now I'm free
